Pregnant Friend

My friend Tracy is pregnant, she is due in 3 weeks. I think I appriciate how beautiful it is to be pregnant when it's on someone else. Granted Tracy has only gained 20lbs and looks amazing (I put on 60lbs-not so amazing!). Anyways I also know whats comming at the end of it. When I was pregnant I only talked about the fact that I was pregnant, not to much about the fact that I was going to have a child. During the first pregnancy I guess you don't really have an appreciation for whats comming because you simply can't understand till it's here.

I complained a whole lot during my pregnancy. Watching Tracy go through everything (and not complain) has really gave me a good perspective on things. The next baby we decide to have, i'm really going to try to love the whole experience. The whole pregnancy is a huge blessing, and it's so beautiful that I really want to enjoy it all. Lets hope I don't throw up as much!

Not the best at this!

OK OK OK, to everyone who reads my blog, I know i'm not the best with keeping it updated. I will try though! I have doen a lot today, maybe it makes up for some lost time.
TTYL, my son smells and I think he is trying to get my attention, he's whining at me and rolling around by my feet. Yup time for me to go.

C- Cake or Pie? Cake without a doubt CAKE!!!!!!

D- Drink of choice? Are we talking cocktail or what? Ok i'll say starbucks sugar-free hazlenut latte.

E- Essential item I use everyday? Treadmill, I packed it on with Jack so the treadmill was necessary LOL!

F-Favorite Colour? Pink

G- Gummy bears or gummy worms? I'm with Leah on this EWWW all grose!

H- Hometown- Ahhh good ol' Mission (not quite born and raised, but almost)

I- Indulgance? E-bay, I but a lot on e-bay!

J- January or Febuary? Oh febuary Valentines day of course!

K- Kids and names? 1 and Jack (two eventually)

L- Life is incomplete without? The family, it's true

M- Marriage date? July 2010 is my guess (its ok, it's a joke)

N- Number of siblings? 2 Brothers, I am the middle child, and I was beat up on in my younger years.

O- Oranges or apples? tough one, but i'll go with oranges (i love a good juicy, crunchy gala apple)

P- Phobia or fears? Planes, car accidents, BIRTH, death, shall I go on...........

R- Reason to smile- Everyday I wake up to my son standing and laughing at me in his crib, no matter how tired I am it always makes me smile. Plus I smile when I look at my wedding ring.

GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!

Ok well from the title of this blog, obviously Chris proposed to me. HEHEHEH i'm still giddy about it. Here's the story of how it happened.

The during first week of december when it was snowing heavily, Chris had the day off work. We droped off Jack at Grammas house and went out to do some shopping. When we were finished he was practically begging me to go for a walk in the freezing cold snow down at Heritage Park. I reluctantly agreed!

We walked out towards the river, it was really beautiful. He pulled me in close and started to tell me all these super sweet thing. For those of you who know Chris, you know he's not one to wear his emothions on his sleve, so this was really sweet. I was smiling ear to ear, not sure what he was doing. Then he got down on one knee opened the box..........i was like WWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And he asked if I would marry him.

I thought he was joking until he opened the box (because he has joked about it before)! LOL! Of course I said yes. Once I said yes he huged me, then he tackled me down to the ground, throwing snow at he. AAAAhhhhhh yes that Chris for ya. Yup the man i'm gonna marry. He is quite the funny one.

He always keeps me laughing. Even though the past year has been such an unbelievably hard, amazing, changing experience, it has only made us better and stronger. (So sappy but so true).

So for those of you wondering, no date is set, but were pondering this summer. Who knows?
