First Family Outting May 27th, 05

Ok so we went traveling as a family for the first time this weekend. Saturday we were up and out of the house by 9am, we caught the 11am ferry over to Victoria for my Unkles birthday. Fist off I have to say I am very proud of myself for making it out the door all packed and ready by 9am. This is the first time I have been on time since I have had Jack, LOL! The whole day went smoothly, we came back on the 7pm ferry, once we were home Jack had a final feed and went down for 3.5hours, not to bad!

I am suprised the whole day went very smoothly! Its definitly encouraging for future outings. Can't wait!

runnin on no sleep

How do you get your baby to sleep at night? Jack eats every 2-3 hours even at night, sometimes every hour and a half. He wakes up hungry so I don't want to let him cry and not eat. The doctor said he's a big baby so expect him to eat A LOT! But 2-3 hour every night, its fine throught the day, but at night! I swear he's killin me here.

I dont mind getting up and feeding him, but then he can be up for an extra hour or two after he finishes. How do you get him to go back down right away? Im so exhausted, just one night where I could sleep for 6 consecutive hours would be a dream come true! He gets a full feeding to, he eats at least 5 onzes in a feeding, i feel like a dairy cow here. Whats a cow to do?

Well what can I say......life has done a 180 dregree turn around! I have a new baby boy (Jack Joseph Anthony) who is pretty much the cutiest thing I have ever seen in my life! I have an amazing boyfriend who is a wonderful father. Life is good.

Having a baby is the most work I have ever done, but by far the most fun I have had. Jack Is so funny. Chris got the experience of being peed on the other day. I couldn't help but laugh.
